Being a reader of Heather Cox Richardson’s Letters From An American everyday I awaited this book and hoped it would be on audio. Thrilled it was.  Started it at work and finished it the next day on the way into work.  It is NOT a collection of the daily postings.  It is pulling the history of the American political scene from the previous, almost century to show how we got to today.  There was a couple of times I thought the author was off the path but pulled me back in to the point.

As she does in the letters, Richardson wraps up historical precursors into current events for a better understanding of what they mean or can lead to. Another book I can recommend.
