February notes:

     Additional notes may be added this week but March data and more important is getting the 2024 summary done.

     While this was nowhere near the coldest february it was the coldest one since 2015 which had an average temp of 10.95°. Remember THOSE winters?

     February repeated the January rarity of a month with no temperature records set for highs, lows or even low high temps or warm low temps. Came close to record high on February 26 at 49.5° with a record of 50.1°, a temp that was reached the day before.

     A cold February was needed. Even after the coldest February in 10 years the third decade average temp in still 1.26° than the previous decade and 1.68° warmer than the first decade.  A cold start to 2025 is good, at least it is good for my state of mind. This will be shown when the 2024 summary is posted.
